Navigating the Interface

qomplement uses a macOS Finder-inspired layout designed for fast navigation between documents, templates, and tools.

Layout overview​

The interface has three main areas:

Top bar​

  • Logo (left) — click to return to the main view
  • User menu (right) — your avatar, name, and a dropdown with account options
  • Language toggle — switch between English and Spanish

The sidebar is organized into sections:

Favorites

  • Recents — recently processed documents
  • Documents — all your documents
  • Document Parser — the core extraction tool
  • Templates — your extraction schemas
  • Excel Files — uploaded Excel templates
  • PDF Forms — fillable PDF templates
  • Clouds — database connections and workflow tools

Qloud

  • My Computer — local file access
  • Shared — shared resources
  • Network — cloud integrations (Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, OneDrive)

Admin (organization owners/admins only)

  • Dashboard — team activity overview
  • Team — member management
  • Activity — usage and audit log

Click the collapse button to minimize the sidebar to icon-only mode, giving more room for your content.

Main content area​

This is where documents, templates, parsers, and workflow builders are displayed. Most views support two display modes:

  • Grid view — visual cards with thumbnails
  • List view — compact rows with details

Display options​

At the top of most views, you'll find controls for:

  • View mode — toggle between grid and list
  • Sort order — All, Newest First, or Oldest First
  • Category filter — filter by type (available in some views)

Dark mode​

qomplement supports both light and dark themes. The app respects your system preference automatically. You can toggle it from the theme selector if available.
