Retry with High Precision
If the initial extraction missed fields or returned incorrect values, you can re-run the AI with a more thorough processing mode.
When to use it
High Precision mode is useful when:
- Key fields are missing from the results
- Values seem incorrect or swapped
- The document has a complex layout (multi-column, mixed tables and text)
- Handwritten text was not read correctly
- The initial extraction was "close but not quite right"
How to use it
- After initial processing, review your results
- Click Retry with High Precision on the document you want to re-process
- The AI will re-analyze the document with more careful processing
- New results replace the previous ones
What changes
| Aspect | Standard | High Precision |
|---|---|---|
| Speed | Fast (10-30 sec/page) | Slower (30-60 sec/page) |
| Accuracy | Good for most documents | Better for complex layouts |
| AI model | Optimized for speed | Optimized for accuracy |
| Cost | Counts as 1 document | Counts as 1 document |
Tips
- Try standard first — it works well for most documents. Only retry if needed.
- Check your template — sometimes poor results are from vague field definitions, not processing quality. Improving your template may be more effective.
- Image quality matters — High Precision can't fix a blurry source document. Use the highest quality original available.
