Fast Mode

Fast Mode accelerates document processing for when speed matters more than maximum accuracy.

What is Fast Mode?​

Fast Mode uses an optimized processing pipeline that prioritizes speed. Documents are processed significantly faster while still delivering quality extraction results.

When to use it​

  • High-volume batch processing — processing hundreds of similar documents
  • Well-structured documents — clean PDFs with standard layouts (typed text, tables)
  • Time-sensitive workflows — when you need results quickly

When to avoid it​

  • Low-quality scans — blurry or faded documents benefit from standard processing
  • Complex layouts — documents with unusual formatting may need more careful analysis
  • Handwritten content — standard or high precision modes handle handwriting better

How to enable it​

Toggle Fast Mode in the Document Parser before starting extraction. The toggle appears near the extraction controls.
