Email Upload

Every qomplement account gets a unique @qomplement.com email address. Send documents to this address and they're automatically uploaded for processing.

Your upload address​

Find your unique email address in the Clouds section. It looks like:

your-unique-id@qomplement.com

How to use it​

  1. Copy your upload address
  2. Send an email with document attachments (PDF, images, Word docs) to that address
  3. Documents automatically appear in your qomplement account

Use cases​

Forward emails with attachments​

If you receive invoices, contracts, or reports by email, forward those emails to your upload address. The attachments are automatically extracted and available for processing.

Email rules / auto-forwarding​

Set up a rule in your email client (Gmail, Outlook) to automatically forward certain emails to your upload address:

  • Gmail: Settings > Filters > "Has attachment" + sender matches → Forward to upload address
  • Outlook: Rules > New Rule → Apply to messages with attachments from specific senders → Forward

Workflow trigger​

Combine email upload with the Email Inbox workflow trigger to fully automate document processing. When a document arrives via email:

  1. Email Upload receives the document
  2. Email Inbox trigger fires
  3. Your workflow processes it (parse, fill, send results)

Requirements​

  • Available for authenticated users only (not guests)
  • Attachments must be supported file types (PDF, DOCX, images, etc.)
  • Email body text is ignored — only attachments are processed
